AUBURN: Dec. 25, 2011 – Come ring in the New Year and enjoy gourmet dining in Auburn at the best restaurant in town with the specially designed New Year’s Eve menu at Bootleggers Old Town Tavern & Grill. The special New Year’s Eve gala features gourmet foods, delectable homemade desserts and live music with pianist Anna Lee.

Join Bootleggers – Auburn’s most beautiful holiday decorated restaurant for a New Year’s Eve menu. Bootleggers will serve a special New Year’s Eve themed steak and lobster, king and Dungeness crab, seared Ahi, oysters, specialty desserts and more.

Some of Bootlegger’s New Year’s Eve specialty desserts include: Chocolate mousse with raspberry sauce, orange chiffon with cranberry, banana foster bread pudding with lemon curd and chocolate hazelnut torte.

“Please join the Bootlegger’s family and spend the last night of 2011 enjoying the very best food, specially selected for our New Year’s Eve guests; we will have everything from steak and lobster, fresh seared Ahi, our homemade desserts, music by Anna Lee and so much more,” says Ty Rowe, Bootlegger’s executive chef and co-owner.

Bootleggers will be open on Tuesday, New Year’s Eve from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for lunch and the New Year’s Eve dinner will be served from 4 to 10 p.m. Bootlegger’s eclectic menus showcase the freshness of the seasonal foods available to the foothill area. Whether the food is from one of the local farms in the area or brought in from one of the neighboring regions, guests will always find the best of what is in season available on the Bootlegger’s menu.

Executive Chef and co-owner Ty Rowe, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, N.Y., apprenticed nationally with the Marriot Hotel chain, later honing his skills in Europe. Aside from overseeing the award-winning cuisine at Bootleggers, he can be seen at numerous regional cooking demonstrations and competitions. He has also been featured on numerous TV cooking shows. Ty is known as one of the best chefs and his philanthropy is known world-wide.
